Land Rover’s TrackNAVCHALLENGE Announces Winners

The Winning Team of TrackNAVCHALLENGE

One of the numerous causes of Land Rover is to aid in enhancing bright, young minds. This can be seen with the recently concluded Land Rover TrackNAVCHALLENGE.

TrackNAVCHALLENGE, for those not in the know, is a program organized by the company to raise awareness and enthusiasm in engineering technology. It is open to 14-18 year olds who have interests and gifts in vehicle designing and engineering. In such an activity, these young minds are tasked to design and produce a radio-controlled, four-wheel drive model that would emulate the superior capabilities of a Land Rover.

The winning party was the ‘A Team’ of Burntwood’s Chase Technology College. The team’s engineered model, complete with various miniature Land Rover Parts, was able to successfully whiz through the final’s in-door all-terrain track.

Furthermore, Land Rover decides to set the event one notch higher as the winners were also treated to experience the real thing. The group was ushered to the Land Rover Experience Center and was treated to expert demonstrations of full-sized Rovers, wherein they get to pour over the real Land Rover Engine Parts as well as to observe innovative Land Rover Aftermarket Parts. And as part of Land Rover’s commitment in caring for the environment, the team also received an educational seminar with regards to responsible off-road driving.

The winning team’s consultant, Adrian Coles, has this to say on this additional treat given to his wards: “Experiencing the capabilities of Land Rovers in action has inspired them even more for next year’s challenge.”
