Land Rover’s ceiling-high September sales

The American automaker Land Rover, which is being produced by Ford, has already amassed thousands of units in the United Kingdom with recorded sales amounting to as much as 10,000 Land Rover vehicles even before the month ends.

This remarkable feat of the Land Rover models posed a sky-rocketing number of total units sold as this month’s sales actually broke the previous record, which was set two years ago. In September 2005, Land Rover sales had a total of 9, 328 units sold in the UK. With still a few days left before October, the sport utility vehicle company is radiating much confidence that the number will still go up, thanks to its well-loved automobiles. Equipped with top-caliber Land Rover Parts, like the Land Rover Engine Parts, the company’s products such as the Discovery, Freelander2, Range Rover Sport, Defender, and Range Rover, are sure to pull up the sales for the months to come.

“We had record sales last year and the year before that and our sales this year are already a record. It is just fantastic for us,” said Simon Warr, who is the Land Rover director of communications.

Land Rover’s tentative UK September record, which was the total sales from the first three weeks of the month, has climbed up to a big 13 percent and has noticeably still going up the ranks. The Freelander2 and the Range Rover went up to 20 percent and 10 percent, respectively, for the last months.

As of now, the UK Land Rover is just waiting for the sales to spill over and beyond the September 2005 record. Moreover, the positive sales for the last three quarters of the big-built vehicles can already be used as a prediction that the clamor for Land Rovers in the UK will still continue until the year comes to an end.

“The UK is a very important market to us but globally we have seen growth in China, Russia and expansion in Europe and the USA,” said Andy Griffiths, who is Land Rover’s marketing director in UK. “We are currently on track to sell more vehicles than we ever have.”
