Land Rover’s record breaking September Sales
Wednesday, October 10th, 2007Although ownership is still a bit unstable for Land Rover, Ford’s high-end sport utility vehicle brand still managed to amass as much as 26,000 automobiles last month, which is the highest total units sold ever recorded since its establishment almost 60 years ago.
Among the 25, 933 SUVs sold, the Freelander 2 and Range Rover, which is equipped with well-made Land Rover Parts, lead the products of the brand for September. These compact Land Rover vehicles are geared with precision-engineered Land Rover Engine Parts, which made them favorites even in the Eastern regions.

From the first quarter until the third quarter, 167, 400 Land Rover vehicles were bought mostly in China and Russia. Such number pushed for a decent 15.7 percent increase compared to the September 2006 record.
“This is a great achievement and it’s always satisfying to break past records,” said Phil Popham, who is the managing director of Land Rover. “We can now approach our 60th anniversary next year with confidence. I want to see the business move forwards responsibly, profitably and in a sustainable manner.”
The luxury brand, which is exported to more than 140 countries, integrates high-end technologies in its vehicles without sacrificing Land Rover’s social responsibility for the users and the environment.
“We’re on track with plans to fit technology to improve the environmental performance of our cars and we’ve given a hint of new, exciting design,” said Popham. “A great future is shaping up.”
