The Ford-produced Land Rover proved that it is not just like any other luxury vehicle as 49 of these sport utility vehicles have been utilized for surveying national roads and motorways by the Highways Agency based in England.

Barely two and a half years in the automobile industry, the Land Rover Discovery models are the ones that the Highway Agency are specifically using to monitor roads. These muscled automobiles, which have been geared with the standard Land Rover Parts, have been chosen by the agency to help it carry out the various road tasks such as carrying and towing. Moreover, the Land Rover Discovery Parts equipped in this fleet make this model capable to easily adapt to different weather conditions such as heavy rain or snow and even drive off on an icy road. In fact, the Land Rover Discovery vehicles of the agency has already proven its strength when these automobiles were used to monitor flooded roads in the previous months.

Aside from the top-caliber Land Rover parts of the Discovery fleet, the agency’s officers were also equipped with the right knowledge to prepare them for their crucial task, which is aimed for safety of motorists, even in most unfavorable weather condition. The Highways Agency’s members were given with lectures tagged as the ‘Adverse Weather Conditions Driving Courses’ held at the Land Rover Experience centers.

“The training program has been specially developed with the needs of the Traffic Officers in mind and has been designed to ensure that Officers are ready to cope with the worst that the British weather can throw at them,” a representative of the Land Rover Experience said.

The Land Rover vehicles have been partnered with police and ambulance teams all over England to ensure safety on and off road. Not only that, the American automaker has already been providing a big chunk of the worldwide aid agencies, which are focused on conservation programs. Without these powerful sport utility vehicles, some of these worldwide missions would have been hard to achieve.
