Land Rover Fest at Perterborough

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

The Land Rover Fest will happen at Peterborough on September 8-9 for this year.  For those that will have a chance to drop by, it is best to visit the Land Rover Owner International stand. One of the main attractions at the said show will be live LRO Workshop Answers sessions.  In these sessions, some of the best known gurus when it comes to Land Rover parts and vehicles– Eddie Evans, Dave Smith and Andrew Varrall – will be on hand during the weekend to help solve Land Rover owners’ technical inquiries. Evans, Smith and Varral will be joined by Steve Buck from Oxfordshire. Aside from them, Land Rover specialist James French, will also be around to answer technical inquiries and give advice when it comes to proper tuning and as well as the apt Land Rover aftermarket parts that best suits one’s Land Rover.

Fortunate Land Rover owners who will drop by will also have on hand Autologic diagnostic system that helps in tracking down elusive faults on readers’ vehicles. Free diagnostic test and free fault warning light diagnosis are also given.  One only has to ask Steve Buck to perform the necessary check-ups within those two days.

LRO is running a free-to-enter competition to win a fabulous Britpart DB9500ti winch – which the winner can take away with them on the Sunday afternoon (prize draw at 4.00pm)

Last, but not least, you will see a fine display of LRO staff and contributor vehicles, including:

  • Ed Cobley’s high flying Bowler Wildcat
  • Editor-in-Chief John Pearson’s ex-G4 Defender 110
  • Web Editor Simon Ward-Hastelow’s Defender 130 Azalai camper
  • Mark Saville’s familiar Series I, Plimsoll.

The LRO marquee is in the club section, north-west of the showground’s main grandstand.
