Latest Addition to the LR2 Line
Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

The word has been going around that the Land Rover is going to add an extra trim level to its famous LR2 lineup. Last April, the entry-level Land Rover was introduced as a 2008 model. This model is considered as a great success. It serves to replace the Land Rover Freelander and is considerably attending to the needs of Land Rover enthusiasts.
On the other hand, the LR2 model has not quite set the world on fire when in comes to sales. In fact, the more expensive Range Rover and Range Rover Sport even has more sales and managed to increase demands for it in only a short span of time. Unlike the Land Rover that really set the blaze, the LR2 model apparently needs more honing or more models. For this reason, Land Rover is going to put another model on the line. This model is supposed to haul the LR2 to where it should be—considering what a great vehicle it is.
In order to add variety and more power to the LR2 line, Land Rover has come up with the Land Rover HSE trim level. This new addition is also a step to increase sales and is also a step higher from the base SE. The newest addition features Land Rover parts such as body-colored molding instead of the gray plastic of the SE, 19-inch wheels, a rear spoiler and titanium-colored door handles. As for its appearance, it has a sportier look. Although this is the case, the HSE will not go any faster than the SE since it boasts the same 230 hp Land Rover engine parts . The LR2 HSE will be released in November.
