Range Rover’s online campaign

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

With the aim to draw in more online customers in promoting the land Rover Range Rover make, the automaker has decided on pursuing an online campaign to let customers experience the Range Rover in operation.

A global online campaign has been launched by the luxury sports utility vehicle maker. This online campaign aims to target the well-off consumers out there. This will be the first global campaign for Wunderman ever since winning the account barely two months ago, in September.

The global online campaign has been devised by Fallon and it will drive customers to a microsite. This microsite will be supported by digital and direct marketing activity through 2008. It is the aim of the interactive site to tackle the issue of sustainable development as well. Aside from that it will also include Land Rover’s many initiatives such as its carbon dioxide offsetting program and some global conservation plans.

The digital creative director at Wunderman, Say Evangelou, said, “The press advertising and outdoor make the initial statement and when you go into the site it is the digital extension that is able to tell the whole story. The user’s ability to download while they tour means their journey is uninterrupted. Then later, they can absorb the product.”
